Amazing Pumpkin Carvings in Berkeley’s Elmwood Neighborhood – Ashby at Piedmont, just east of College Avenue Shops
Berkeley has great celebrations for Halloween and The Day Of The Dead … parades from the Thousand Oaks Elementary School in Thousand Oaks, amazing carved Pumpkins on Ashby & Piedmont in the Elmwood Claremont Neighborhood, astonishing displays on Mariposa Street in the North Berkeley Hills and Russell Street in Elmwood Claremont.
The Thousand Oaks Elementary School is having a parade on Friday 29 Oct 2010 starting at 10:30 am from the school yard at 840 Colusa Avenue, marching up to Solano and back. Kids, parents, pets, teachers, Berkeley’s Finest, and even the Cal Marching Band. I created a youtube video of the parade – just click on the parade photo below to see it.
I love taking photos and video of what makes living in Berkeley so special. Let me know who you recognize – be happy to send them the full-sized photo original.
